living with his daughter, Elizabeth, at Mosside of Ingliston, Kinnettles.
William died at age 84 on 1 Nov 1842 at Mosside,
Kinnettles. He was buried 3 Nov 1842 in the Kinnettles Churchyard.

senile gangre of the foot after six months.

June 23 1___, at age 2 and our granddaughter Jane R. Anderson died at Fever
Hospital, Perth July 2_,1_21 aged 1_ years."

From 1919 to 1930 Thomas worked as a clerk for the
U.S. Post Office. In 1930 he became assistant managing director of the
Credit Union National Association, and from 1935 to 1945 the managing director.
In 1945 he became managing director of CUNA Mutual Ins. Soc., and CUNA
Supply Cooperative. He was an advisor to the Federal Reserve Board for
consumer credit from 1941-1951. Thomas contributed articles on credit unions
and was a speaker and lecturer on the subject. Thomas organized 1,000 credit
unions in the United States and Canada.
Thomas died 19 Dec 1955 at his home in Madison.
